KEF conducted two Edutech workshops in the recent past through Facebook Live sessions. More than 2000 MCGM teachers from Hindi and Urdu medium and few other teachers from private schools were reached out during these live sessions.
The trainers trained these teachers on how to use ‘Google Meet’, ‘Google Classroom’ and ‘Google Jamboard’, if they have Google app installed on their phones.
They were trained on how WhatsApp can be used for online teaching, for example, for making video calls, sharing videos, attaching documents, etc.
Our trainers introduced and demonstrated certain gaming applications like ‘Kahoot’ and ‘Mentimeter’ to make classroom teaching more interactive and fun.
In the end, the teachers were also trained on how to create a 'Professional Learning Community' (PLC), which can help them in having a common platform for exchanging teaching materials, sharing knowledge and thereby helping each other.
Overall, it was a highly satisfying experience for us and a very enriching one for the attendee teachers.
