As a teacher by profession and an army officer’s wife, I feel blessed and privileged to be associated with KEF for the past three years. My experience with KEF has been fruitful and it has been quite delightful to help beneficiaries and help them through education. As one of the partners and the core team volunteer members, I aim to work towards a brighter future!
I have been associated with Unnati for the past 11 years and started working in rural areas like Tara and Shivkar. It gives me a lot of joy to be a part of the professional journey of students, especially when they come back and say that they are reaping the benefits of our training. I am also associated with the Telephonic Spoken English Programme which helps Kotak Mahindra Bank employees volunteer and help beneficiaries improve their spoken English skills.
Having seen the focused approach with which volunteers are guided, it is not surprising to see that they achieve the desired outcomes and give the volunteers a sense of accomplishment, self-actualization and a growing passion to do more for society. I believe volunteering at KEF is a continuous process of unravelling the hidden treasures of achievement and contentment where one can sense how small efforts have the potential to make a huge impact in the lives of others.
