The Global Challenge Video Conference is a version of ‘Generation Global’ which is a philanthropic online education program of the ’Tony Blair Institute for Global Change’. This online venture helps students to learn the skills of dialogue, explore different perspectives on global topics through video conferences with classrooms all over the globe.
On the 17th of October, students from our partner schools participated in one such Global Challenge event. In this activity, students were in dialogue with students of ‘Youth College International’, Hong Kong on the topic of ‘Identity and Belonging’.
Each of our students, during the one-hour dialogue time, spoke confidently, describing their individual identities that they are proud of and also how this pandemic has affected their self-identity. The event helped our students (apart from expressing their own thoughts) to listen, understand and interact with global students.
