Parvarish
Sensitises parents to work towards creating a nurturing learning environment for their children. A supportive home aids in the personal development of a child.
Research shows that when parents are involved in their child’s life and school activities, there is a marked change in the child’s academic performance. Since most of our students are first generational learners, their parents are not involved in their educational activities. Parvarish aims to make parents aware of the significance of education in their child’s life and supports them so that they can be more involved in their child’s development.
Parvarish encourages parents and teachers to work together, thereby enhancing the cognitive, social and emotional well-being of the child. Parvarish, through its current programmes, is trying to facilitate a deeper connection between parents and children.
We foster better parenting through these three programmes:
Since its inception, Parvarish has empowered over 27,000 families to build and strengthen the parent-child relationship. Through workshops, awareness campaigns and home visits, we have helped parents become aware about the importance of education in their children's overall development.
