At Kotak Education Foundation, we believe in involving our volunteers in different activities that would benefit our student beneficiaries to become aware of ways to keep the environment clean for the better and greener world around us.
Our dedicated Volunteering team organized awareness sessions were volunteers from colleges, NSS (National Service Scheme) units recently spoke to the students of 3 KEF partner schools on personal cleanliness and hygiene, environmental cleanliness, and inculcation of good and bad habits.
Furthermore, the team supported a basil plantation activity at one of our partner schools to create awareness about the importance of basil plants in environmental conservation. 20 Basil saplings were planted by the 12 volunteers and 2 KEF volunteers that actively participated.
The team aims to conduct many such sessions to spread awareness about the importance of cleanliness and nature preservation through various activities, including skits and street plays.
