Motivated teachers lead to empowered students

Discovering and developing leadership potential with a futuristic perspective is the key to success. For this, KEF works with school leaders to strengthen their leadership and managerial practices. This helps enhance the learn- ing outcomes in schools. Our interactions and workshops expand their horizons through ‘I can do it’ mentoring sessions, good governance, and school leadership.

155 School leaders Learned about how to develop student leaders within their schools

School leaders from 69 partner schools gained insights about our mentoring workshop to enable Self Love and Commitment

In Rhapsody #PoemStories competition, 5357 students from 64 KEF partner schools participated. All the students added to the spirit enthusiastically. They recreated the poems into stories and debated on the topic "Digital technology is making children's lives better".

Kotak Security and Kotak Life volunteers decorated the walls of our partner schools with beautiful colors and meaningful messages. They also conducted classes on financial literacy. Godrej Group conducted STEM Learning workshop. Building a balloon-powered car from recycled material, an activity that was a great demonstration of all three of Newton's laws of motion was thoroughly enjoyed by all the students.

How we made that happen?

KEF partnered with the TISS Tarasha program (TISS) which is conceptualized as a community-based recovery model for women recovering from mental disorders. We asked the women in Tarasha Programme to write their wishes and KEFians made sure all their wishes were packed and sealed under their Christmas tree. Click here to know more
To make, being humble and grateful a habit, we wrote gratitude cards for our near and dear ones
The livelihood project aspirants from all 6 Unnati centers took up the challenge of sharing kindness. They completed various challenges from sharing food, supporting their parents with housework and sharing details of KEF Unnati project information with their community members.

PED TECH FAIR

The National Education Policy 2020 emphasizes on developing creative, critical and problem-solving thinking in each individual with social, ethical emotional capacities and dispositions. To achieve this, Government of India has listed 8 pedagogical approaches and TPACK. To sensitize the concepts, "PedTechFair" was organized by the centralized content team for KEFians. Several teaching aids were created which were connected to multidisciplinary subjects to help teach various concepts.

New Initiatives By KEF

Kotak Education Foundation (KEF) has kickstarted the Model Schools project in collaboration with Maharashtra State Council of Educational Research and Training (MSCERT ). Our teams are in the first phase of project
To include 21st century classroom 2 schools were digitalized and inaugurated by Dr. Shobha Khandare, Principal(DIET),Pune and Mrs. Manisha Yadav from SCERT
To improve physical facilities - Infrastructure assessment was conducted in 19 schools
To understand the learning outcome of students pre and post test of bridge courses conducted by school teachers was analysed and pre- test for communicative english conducted in 18 schools
Eye check up of 2360 students was conducted

Scholars Alumni Association 2022

We are proud of the first formation of our established scholars alumni association. This is a platform to network and will also play a larger role by contributing through buddy mentoring, conducting training for current scholars and supporting them with various opportunities. It will unlock new possibilities for a better future.

What’s in the NEWS

The Year End Review shared by Ministry of Education is very insightful. Centrally sponsored scheme Pradhan Mantri Schools is now approved by Cabinet, 14,500 schools across Indis is been developed and upgraded and 2.5 Crore school students take part in regular EBSB activities during the year 2022.

He will interact with parents & teachers, to help & enable them to support students to accomplish all their dreams & goals.The competition is open for school students of classes 9 to 12 and write questions too.
