KEF’s Parenting intervention conducted a series of 8 online live sessions for the parents ofpre-primary and primary section children. In these 1 hour sessions, parents wereprovided with positive parenting tips and activities to keep the learning process ofchildren intact and also helped in maintaining steady learning routine. Children,through these fun and playful activities learnt literacy and numeracy concepts evenbetter.
To add value to the initiative, KEF simultaneously created 178 activity videos which have been uploaded in KEF’s YouTube channel. These YouTube video links have been shared with parents over WhatsApp groups, and on an average, weekly 800+ parents view these videos.
These videos are serving as a great learning tool for parents along with the virtualsessions, as Parents can watch these anytime and practice the activities as per theirconvenience. Parents also regularly send videos of themselves carrying out theactivities with their children as shown in the video.
